The boy doll is wearing the traditional two piece Pajama Panjabi that is traditionally worn by many men in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Girl doll is wearing the traditional salwar kameez that many teenagers in Bangladesh and India wear.

The dolls and outfit is made with cotton material.
As each doll is handmade, each doll is unique.

Purchased from HEED ( Health, Education and Economic Development ) , a Christian non – governmental Organization in Bangladesh which was established in 1977 to empower artisans. The artisans come from many areas of Bangladesh and include widows, minority groups, refugees, and other disadvantaged people , most of whom are illiterate. As well as marketing the craft, HEED is also involved in micro credit, agricultural products, community health, gender education and leprosy hospitals.
