Go Fair Trading is very excited to announce our partnership with Gerald McGregor. Gerald is a very talented artist who is creating an exclusive range for Go Fair Trading.  Our cross cultural project will enable our customers to access a range of exciting aboriginal products while still promoting fair trade. The ever popular snakes and ladders game that is so neat and compact. When you have finished playing the game, the jute and cotton game is neatly folded away in its own drawstring bag. Great for travelling or for practical reasons when a non bulky game is needed to amuse the children. The base of the game is made with eco-friendly jute material and has a cotton border. The cotton material screen printed numbered squares and serpents are sewn onto the jute material base. The serpents are hand appliquéd onto the cotton material. Attached to the base is a zipped pocket holding the dice and buttons. The red drawstring bag also has the serpents & walking Tracks design panel sewn on the front. Measurements Game mat is approx. 42 cms by 42 cms. A little bit of information our talented artist: Gerald, was born in 1973, and is of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nationality, with his family descending from the Burketown region in far north Queensland, the GUNNDALEEDIE tribe. Coming from a family abundant in artistic talent, Gerald has found his own unique style of art ranging from traditional dot and animal inspired pieces, to others with a more contemporary feel, that reflects the view of the modern “urban” Aboriginal’s view of this beautiful country Australia. Gerald has sold hundreds of art pieces over the last 8 years both in Australia and all over the world!! Gerald’s artwork has become well sort after and collectable, by art enthusiasts across the globe.
