Gerald is a very talented artist who is creating an exclusive range for Go Fair Trading. 

Our cross cultural project will enable our customers to access a range of exciting aboriginal products while still promoting fair trade.

The ever popular noughts and crosses game that is so neat and compact. Great for travelling or for practical reasons when a non bulky game is needed to amuse the children.

The base of the game is made with eco-friendly jute material.Orange cotton strips sewn onto the jute base difine the squares.

Attached to the game is a zipped bag with the nine noughts and crosses “pillows” so there will be no loose pieces after the game has been played- they can be packed away into the zipped bag.
As each noughts and crosses playmat is handmade , each one is unique.

Measurements
Noughts and Crosses mat is approx. 42 cms by 42 cms.
Size of attaced zipped pocket is approx. 14cms width by 20 cms length.
Each noughts and crosses cushion is approx. 6cms by 6 cms.

 

A little bit of information our talented artist:

Gerald, was born in 1973, and is of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nationality, with his family descending from the Burketown region in far north Queensland, the GUNNDALEEDIE tribe.

Coming from a family abundant in artistic talent, Gerald has found his own unique style of art ranging from traditional dot and animal inspired pieces, to others with a more contemporary feel, that reflects the view of the modern “urban” Aboriginal’s view of this beautiful country Australia. 

 Gerald has sold hundreds of art pieces over the last 8 years both in Australia and all over the world!! Gerald’s artwork has become well sort after and collectable, by art enthusiasts across the globe.
